Ahhhhh FOGO...

A few minutes ago, there was a knock on the door.  

I looked out to see Jorge and Paulo.

Their Mission Papers are complete!  

They just needed to borrow a pen to sign their names 

(and to tell us the news).

I told them Elder Benedict is at the church right now helping a new Branch President. 

But, he should be home soon, as our lunch/dinner was just about ready 

(even though it is almost 9 pm!).   

They already know the Missionary rules...

without him here, I cannot invite them in.  

But there they were with their papers finally done!

One cannot miss out on such excitement!  

I know how much time and effort goes into completing these papers.  

Of course we have a pen they can borrow. 

Wait right here...while I get something to write on.  

They signed their papers, careful to keep their feet on the front porch. 

(They will be obedient to every rule on their mission!) 

Then off they went to the Church to show Elder Benedict the great news!

(Maybe I should turn down dinner to a slow simmer, 

or pack it up and take it to the church...for the celebration of sorts!)  

  

We will miss this place because we love this people...
